Back to Japan!

The boys are now on their way back to Japan. This trip has been a great experience for them and they have been excellent ambassadors for Japan. They should be very proud. Well done Tokai Ireland 2017!

Farewell to the Families

Yesterday, the boys said good bye to their host families. It is always emotional. The families have been so kind to them over the three weeks they have been in Ireland. They have been wonderful guests.

A Friendly Group

The boys have done very well to make friends at ICE. They are very popular with the other students and staff.

Rice Balls!

The boys have had so many packed lunches now, they are tired of sandwiches. SO they were happy to see these rice balls made by Patrick's wife.

T-Shirt Fun

Some of the boys bought ICE T-shirts and asked their new friends to write messages on them. This is an ICE tradition every year and a nice way to remember people.

Grafton Street, The National Gallery and Trinity College

This group visited some of Dublin's most cultural places. And it was a sunny day!

English Lessons

The English lessons at ICE are in small classes where every student gets a great chance to interact and make friends with the other students. They are encouraged to speak as much as they can so this is quite a new experience for the Tokai boys who are used to much bigger classes of all-Japanese people. They have been really enjoying the change as you can see from these pictures.
