The boys are getting on very well as a group this year. I have heard that there is more laughter and fun. I think Tokai boys are getting used to study abroad and are not as nervous as in previous years. This year the Irish group are very lucky to have Chiin Ino (the boy in blue with "LA" on his shirt) who came to Ireland last year and had such a good time that he wanted to come back again. He is able to help the pother boys very much and give them tips and advice. He is staying with the same family and his host mother, Vera is a wonderful host. He asked to stay with her again. Chiin is building a bridge between Japan and Ireland and we are delighted to have him back again.
Thanks for referring to my son! Three weeks in Ireland last summer gave an enormous and lasting effect on his view of life. Vera is a very sweet lady and we have kept in touch. Missing someone far away was something Chiin had never experienced by then. It was just a three-weeks-long study program at the beginning for sure, but what my son has benefited from it will remain in him far longer. I am deeply grateful.
